A little bit about Talking Boards.......

Spirit talking boards (Or Ouji Board the trade name that Hasbro Games Used when they bought the rites to the game in the 1960's)  have been going since the 1800's, It started as a fun Victorian Parlor Game and became a craze thereafter!

It is believed that you can receive messages from the 'Other Side' through these talking boards, however there is not actual 'Proof' of this.

Some sceptics say that the Planchette ( the Heart Shaped tool that you lay your fingers on) is moved subconsciously by the individuals attending the Seance because they really want to believe they are talking to Spirits! To them, the Spirits have come through to them alone as they have an important message to give, or, they are believing it's a message from a loved one that has passed over to give them comfort.

Unfortunately, since the 1970's when the film 'The Exorcist' came out, the talking board became more of a tool of alleged 'Evil' rather than a fun parlor / party game for entertainment, since then the Ouji or Spirit Talking Board has a bad reputation all thanks to a fictional film!
